Field Trips

Looking for a fun outing with your class? We love to teach students the basics of horsemanship and horse care! Visit our horse sanctuary for an hour and a half of feeding, grooming, and riding horses.

RATE -- $20 per person

Maximum of 40 children

Minimum of 1 adult per 15 children

Sample Schedule:

9:00 - 9:30am – Arrive

9:30 - 9:45am – Safety briefing

9:45 - 11:00am – rotate between stations (25 minutes per station)

Riding
Grooming and tacking a horse
Leading a horse, backing up a horse, yielding quarters (basics of communication)
Educational worksheet (parts of a horse or parts of tack)
