the bridge between inc
A faith-based organization caring for rescued horses and providing opportunities for equine-human connection

aboutus
The Bridge Between Inc. is a nonprofit horse sanctuary. Our two-fold mission is to rescue and rehabilitate abused, abandoned, and neglected horses, and to use their inherent theraputic presence to help adults and children with mental, physical and emotional difficulties. Our rescued horses are brought back to health with the help of our volunteer and professional staff. When the horses are safe and sound they begin working with our clients to bridge healing relationships that foster connection within ourselves and with our surroundings.

About Us
Caring for rescued horses and providing opportunities for equine-human connection.
The Bridge Between Inc. is a non-profit organization that was created in 2009. Our mission is to provide a sanctuary to horses and humans through the crafting of programs aimed at helping disadvantaged populations, youth, and victims of trauma. We strive to be a bridge that leads to healing and hope, and we invite you to join us in this effort.

ORGANIZATIONAL GOALS
IMMEDIATE
Like many horse farms, mud is an almost constant issue that we face at the sanctuary. In an effort to lessen the stress the horses put on the pastures and reduce the amount of mud, we are working towards building a 16 stall barn.
If you have experience in excavation/bobcat work/grading, let us know!

SHORT TERM
We are looking to expand our current services to provide enrichment activities for the children and adults of our community.
If you are interested in assisting in the development of these programs, check out our volunteer program here.
LONG TERM
We are dedicated to providing our community with the tools, resources, and support they need to make positive changes in their lives. We have worked with foster children in the past, and we are passionate about helping them find the strength they need to overcome their circumstances. We strive to provide a safe space for those who have faced adversity, and our horses are an integral part of that.
